Volunteer Positions
Animal Transport Drivers
We are currently seeking drivers for our animal transport program. Drivers will be responsible for transporting animals from rural animal shelters throughout Ohio to sister rescue groups at various locations across the state. If you are interested in joining our transport program and would like full details about how to join us please contact us by filling out our contact form here.
Help Needed at Cat Sanctuary
The head of our cat program (also a board member) has a high number of cats and kittens at the farm at any given time as well as a few dogs who are waiting on foster homes and generally are there because of kennel cough or other illness and are being treated. She needs help all the time with cleaning cat litter boxes and walking dogs. Schedule is flexible in that anytime you have, she basically would need help. Please complete our general contact form (link above) if you are able to help.
Supplies Needed
STS is always in need of cat litter, preferably the sccoopable odor control (given the large number of cats we have in our program), and are always grateful for any donations of litter, or cat / dog food. Please contact us through the general contact form on our website (link above) if you would like to donate any of these items or see a complete wishlist.
Foster Homes Needed
We are only able to save as many dogs and cats as we have foster homes for, so we depend heavily on our individual foster homes to be able to continue helping other dogs and cats on the the euthanasia list at rural shelters. Please consider becoming a foster home for a dog or cat. Additional information on fostering can be found under the "Foster Homes Needed" section of our site.
